ESL 5315 - Advanced Grammar for ESL Teachers
The course examines issues concerning the role of grammar in the development of students’ communicative competence as well as with the teaching of grammar and the techniques for doing so. The course will also provide an overview of English grammar from a traditional as well as a communicative/functional perspective. It will focus primarily on aspects of English grammar that are relevant to teaching ESL.
