ESL 5319 - ESL Materials, Curriculum, and Syllabus Design
The course will examine issues related to materials development and syllabus design. Teacher candidates will consider learners’ learning styles, cultural issues and the authenticity of materials used in ESL classrooms. Candidates will become familiar with theoretical and practical issues regarding content selection, content adaptation, and various types of syllabi used in ESL.
