ESL 5322 - History of English Language
This course is designed to show the relations of the English language to the Indo-European language family and to trace the history of its development from Old English through Middle and Early Modern Englist to the present day. Attention will be paid to phonology, morphology, snytax, and semantics as well as the English lexicon.
