SED 3151 - Jr Practicum I/English Educ
This course introduces English/Language arts teacher candidates to classroom management techniques, theory and practice, and the assessment of student learning. Candidates will be assigned a mentor who will work with them throughout their matriculation at the university. They will develop a notebook of teaching strategies and assessment methods and instruments, keep a journal reflecting ono their mentoring experience, and use their reflections to compose a final paper focusing on the impact of their experience, particularly as it has prpeared them for the methods course and the clinical experience. Pre-requisites: SED 2115
